About Nathan
I'm a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with twenty years of nursing experience. I also teach mental health nursing and pharmacology at the university level. That teaching background carries into everything I do. I want you to understand what's happening, not just leave with a prescription.I provide both medication management and psychotherapy. Your situation, life, and goals all factor into the decisions we make together. People describe me as approachable, calm, and thorough. I care about getting things right, and I take the time to do that.
Getting help shouldn't feel like a maze. I'll walk you through it.
Services
How I Can Help
Medication Management
Thoughtful prescribing of psychotropic medications. We'll talk through your options together, start carefully, and adjust based on how you're feeling.Psychotherapy
A space to work through what you're dealing with and build skills that actually help. I draw from CBT, ACT, motivational interviewing, and supportive therapy, whatever fits you best.ADHD Evaluation
Comprehensive testing to clarify whether ADHD is part of your picture. A lot of conditions can look like ADHD, and the wrong diagnosis leads to the wrong treatment. We'll make sure you're on the right path.Genetic Testing
Pharmacogenomic testing that helps us understand how your body processes psychiatric medications, so we spend less time guessing. This can also include MTHFR testing when relevant.Telehealth (In-Person Coming Soon)
Currently seeing patients via telehealth across Tennessee. In-person appointments in Chattanooga are coming soon.

What Guides My Practice
The goal is to ease your suffering, not just give it a name. You deserve to understand your diagnosis, your medication, and the reasoning behind both.Treatment plans work best when we build them together.
